Kick off the new year with a rejuvenating 24 hours of traditional instruction in yoga and meditation designed to help you connect deeply with yourself and rediscover the joy of life. Bliss Retreat offers a balanced mix of self-care, cultural activities, and mindfulness. Led by international yogi Satchidananda, you'll participate in daily yoga and meditation classes, somatic stretching, and an intentional fire ceremony, all aimed at elevating your energy and renewing your spirit. Satchidananda has spent the last two decades learning, living, and teaching at various yoga centers and ashrams around the world, after many years of learning from his Guru in India.
The retreat is set in the tranquil suburbs of Austin and offers the perfect environment to step away from daily distractions and find peace of mind. A full itinerary is provided that includes all activities that include mantra chanting, pranayama, yoga nidra, introspective volunteering, physical cleanse and a fire ceremony. There will be personal rest time with a hot tub, cold dip, and personal sauna available.
The retreat begins at 9:30 am Saturday January 25th with a greeting of guests and meeting the teacher, and ending at 10:30am Sunday, January 26th. By the end of the retreat, you'll leave with renewed energy, lasting friendships, and cherished memories of this time. Feel free to stay for the rest of the day to use the amenities or book a body therapy session with Todd.
Your stay includes sleeping accommodation, three delicious vegetarian meals, the variety of activities, workshops and personalized support, for a transformative experience, leaving you refreshed and ready to embrace the year to come. All items of comfort will be provided, however feel free bring any items you need (i.e personal pillow, water bottle, yoga blanket, etc.)
